This policy describes how The Sales Copilots collects, uses, and protects your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / RGPD) and French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978.

Data we collect
- Contact data you submit voluntarily: name, email, company, role, any message you send via forms, email, or our Calendly scheduling link.
- Usage data collected automatically: pages visited, time on site, referring site, device and browser type.
- Technical data: IP address (temporarily, for security and fraud prevention).
Purpose and legal basis
Retention periods
- Prospect contact data: 3 years from the last contact.
- Client contract data: duration of the engagement + 5 years (French civil statute of limitations).
- Accounting records: 10 years (French Commercial Code).
- Cookies: see Cookie policy below (maximum 13 months for analytics).
Third parties we share data with
- Netlify — hosting provider (USA, with EU Standard Contractual Clauses).
- Google Fonts — font delivery (IP address may be logged when fonts are served).
- Calendly — meeting scheduling (processes data you submit when booking).
We do not sell your data. We share it only with processors that act on our instructions under a data-processing agreement, or where required by law.
Your rights under GDPR
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase ("right to be forgotten") under conditions set by GDPR.
- Restrict processing under certain circumstances.
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting prior processing.
- Give instructions concerning the fate of your data after death.
- Lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.

Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we hold.
International transfers
Some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area (for example, Netlify in the United States). In those cases, transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards under Articles 45 to 49 of GDPR.
